Churches: Clothes and Colors

Posted on February 21, 2018March 16, 2018 by Ethan Toney

What happens when your church starts to dictate what, how, and in what colors your clothes should be? Normally most churches ban a certain color or two for men. Most colors, if not all colors, are open to women. So what happens when your church leader tells the young women that she must pray to decide what color they will wear? For one, there is no scriptural principle for praying about what colors people’s clothing should be in. In fact, ‘ Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? ‘ Matthew 6:25

News Update For PCOR9

Posted on February 20, 2018 by Ethan Toney

We all have a choice, to choose Jesus or to not choose Jesus. It is our goal (PCOR9), to get as many in the family as we can. So let us let you in on what we’ve been working on. Now, normally we wouldn’t write an article on this, but we felt we needed to be transparent and notify you of everything. Starting off, we have:

  • Our business plan – this is very important for us as we’ve been needing to update our ideas, products, and services.

Brazil: News/Updates 1

Posted on January 20, 2018January 20, 2018 by Ethan Toney

The picture above is a church in Brazil. Homes, churches, and lives are being destroyed. We live in a world that has no feelings for others. Do our lives really matter? To Jesus they do and to the adversary they do. The devil wants to get us down. Jesus wants to love us.

It Wasn’t My Fault

Posted on January 16, 2018January 16, 2018 by Ethan Toney

You notice a girl sitting in a chair alone with her head down and her hands covering her face. You decide to walk closer to her and as you do, you hear sounds of her sobbing. You gently tap her on the shoulder and as she looks up, you ask her what’s wrong? So she told you her life’s story. It wasn’t her fault her parents had abandoned her. It wasn’t her fault that the youth group rejected her.  It also wasn’t her fault when her boyfriend left for no apparent reason. What was her fault, however, was that she had gone away from God. She knew she needed Him, but she didn’t know how to get back to Him. She didn’t think He would want her anymore.

A Post Away From Forgiveness

Posted on December 28, 2017December 30, 2017 by Ethan Toney

A few months ago, someone from the PCOR9 Google plus community wrote on another Christian community and was banned. I figured I would go talk to the moderators. After a while, after being called a heretic, troll, and told that I was devaluing Christ, they told me they would pray for me and that I should leave before being banned.

Dry Valley or Lost River?

Posted on December 17, 2017December 17, 2017 by Ethan Toney

Have you ever gone through a dry valley? I think it is safe to assume the answer is yes. When we talk about going through a dry valley, we refer to the times where it seems we can’t find God, we can’t feel Him, or we have hit a place in life where we feel dead inside. In some cases, we find the praying, reading our Bible, and going to church are useless things. Okay, I’ll bite, let’s say all of them are useless, what will you do now? My guess is you’ll stop and read back over that sentence again.

Welcome To PCOR9

Posted on December 1, 2017December 17, 2017 by Ethan Toney

Welcome everyone to PCOR9’s blog and website. Project Corinthians 9 is a group dedicated to following only the Bible and listening to God. Matthew 13:16  But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. We believe we are the group that will usher in the greatest and last revival the world has ever seen by the power of God in the name of Jesus Christ. We aim to show the Truth, we believe we won’t be defeated. None can stand in our way. We are the generation. This is that and we cannot be stopped.
