Chaotic Confusion

The world is a place where confused people do chaotic things. The opportunities for harming a person are too numerous to count. The danger lies on all sides, outside and inside. And while part of the church sits idly by and allows sin to run rampant among the congregation and leadership, the other side (a smaller side) is doing what it can to fight back.

Confusion is messy. Confusion is what causes people to see what they want to see, not what they need. Confusion creates desperation to search out for any pieces of higher knowledge for truth but forgets that it’s the simple things in life that really matter. Confusion creates people who break up families and churches. And in churches, confusion is not normally from the congregation, but the leadership. Confusion leads to chaos.

Chaos is confusion being destructive. Chaos is why over sixty-percent (closer to seventy-percent) of leaders and church members partake in sexual sin. (And for the Oneness Pentecostals, you aren’t exempt.) Chaos allows leaders of churches to say and do what they want without having to answer to someone who knows better. Chaos leads to people who call themselves Christians walking over people who are being Christ-like. Chaos thinks it’s cool that over 50% of church leaders in Africa (and other countries) to be in a continual state of adultery.

And here starts chaotic confusion. Imagine not knowing what you really believe. Instead, you wander aimlessly around trying to find pieces of truth to put together a puzzle that only leaves you even more bewildered. How can a puzzle look so wrong? The puzzle points to a God, but which one? A religion, but which one? Eventually, you’ll come across voices on the internet and in your life, each one with an opinion on which you’ll find some truth in.

One could spend their entire life searching for the answers to the universe and all other answers their heart desired, but in the end, what does it profit you? Stephen Hawking, a man who I have much respect for and was a brilliant theoretical physicist, searched and theorized answers. In the end, it only profited him degrees and academic status, but he still rejected the notion of God. One could say that this man led a very confused life.

Then there are those who feel they have all the answers, those who are very common in Islamic, Christian, and atheistic debaters. This group commonly preys on the weaker questioner. They aim to crush their prey by demanding answers and rejections of beliefs. They mock people, religions, and even mock the questioner. They rain down destructive, smart-mouthed insults and lead others to believe they are highly intelligent for winning (destroying people’s argument for the sake of it (for fun).

But while we have a world that is either confused or chaotic, we have churches that are both. Chaotic confused churches have leadership that is destructive and members that are confused. This leads to sinful churches and more often than it should, church splits.

Churches have lost their love for people. Is it that they forget how Jesus loves them or did they stop loving him? If you forgot how much he loves you, you probably forgot him. America and the rest of the world are in a very sad and disturbing condition.

The church world needs to declare that the only way to heaven, the only way to the freedom of the bondage of sin, and the love for everyone is only by one, Jesus Christ. The church world needs to wake up and look around at their churches, the leaders, and the saints.

Ezekiel 33:6 – But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take [any] person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.

I believe a war is coming and things will get a lot worse for the church before it gets better. And while the church is in a spiral downwards while trying to look up, it needs to understand that the only way to survive this war, is to bind together with brothers and sisters in Christ and be right with God.  The church cannot play or pretend, it has to be true, and nothing but true.
