America has its fair share of Zionists and Christian Zionists. While many Christian denominations reject Zionism, one movement known as Pentecostalism, seems to fully embrace Zionism. Zionism is a movement that enables Jews from around the world to create a state known as Israel, by whatever means necessary for the protection and safety of the Jewish people. Its supporters have ranged from atheist and religious Jews to non-Jews who typically view the Jews as chosen people of God. Most of the Christians who fall into this category or adherents to a doctrine called dispensationalism. Dispensationalism is the belief that God has two chosen people, the Israel and the Church. This belief is misleading doctrine that infects the minds of believers to support Zionism and its bloodthirsty appetite.
Zionism is a Jewish supremacy movement. Dispensationalism is what makes up most of the so-called evidence that Zionism should be supported within the body of Christ. However, the good news is that dispensationalism is a fairly new doctrine. This means we could refer to it as a ‘progressive revelation’, a term Pentecostals tend to use on Catholics. John Nelson Darby (1800 – 1882) is considered the father of dispensationalism, though it was Cyrus Ingerson Scofield (1843-1921) that would further the agenda into America. Dispensationalism is a Western doctrine that rejects the first, second, and third century Church teachings. And if the name Scofield sounds familiar, you might be thinking of the Scofield Bible. That’s because the Cyrus Scofield wrote the Scofield Bible and mixed his dispensational beliefs into his study Bible. Scofield was a heavy drinker who abandoned his wife and child and committed adultery. He was also forced to resign from a political office for bribes and various other criminal practices. He later converted to another denomination and began to push the belief of God having two peoples.
Both Darby and Scofield taught that the Church would be raptured and that only then would God turn back to Israel and save all of Israel. They also taught that Christians must support the Jews. They most certainly would’ve supported Zionism, since Zionism is the movement for Jews and their Gentile supporters to force (by any means necessary) a Jewish state. For the atheist Jews, this state is a place away from Gentiles where they have power. For the religious Jews, the state of Israel is protection and for awaiting their messiah, you know, the one that isn’t cursed. For the Christian Zionists, this state is for the full conversion of the Jews unto Christ and the bringing in of the rapture for the Church. These are all antiChrist. For the atheist Jew rejects God entirely, the religious Jew rejects their messiah, and the Christian Zionist supports the very people who are anti-Christ.
We read in the Bible about people who are of the antichrists spirits:
1 John 2:18-19,22-23 NKJV
Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. [19] They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us. [22] Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. [23] Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
1 John 4:1-3 NKJV
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. [2] By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, [3] and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
2 John 1:7,9 NKJV
For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. [9] Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.
Should Christians support a movement and a people who are absolutely antichrists? Whose spirits push anti-Christian agendas? The atheist Jew rejects the Father, the religious Jew rejects the Son and in doing so, reject the Father. And yet these “Christian” Zionists would have you believe that the worship to this entity the religious Jews believe in would be the Father. These same Jews go against Jesus and Christian doctrine. They are completely antiChrist, and yet Pentecostals widely support them in the name of dispensationalism. As Christians, we must call the Jews to repent as on the day of Pentecost. This was the same message the Apostle Peter preached when the 3,000 received the word and were baptized, repenting and converting to Christ.
We should not help sinners sin more. We should continue preaching repentance. By entering through Christ, all of Israel shall be saved (both Jews and Gentiles becoming one).
