How Can We Help?

If you ask a Muslim, they will say yes. If you ask a Christian, they will say no. So who is right? Let’s look into the Bible and see what it has to say then let’s look at some surrounding facts. The Bible has this to say about itself:

Psa 18:30  As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

Psa 33:4  For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.

Psa 119:89  LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

Psa 119:160  Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.

Mat 24:35  Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Luk 4:32  And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.

Luke 4:36  And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

2Co 2:17  For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

Eph 6:17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

1Thess. 1:5  For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

I think it is safe to say the Bible not only holds a claim to be true but can show it via the power of God through Christ. So what does history say? The Bible branches from Judaism. Judaism agrees with the same history that the Bible holds, after all, the Bible has the Torah in it. This makes at least two religions that can agree upon the same thing. Not only that but pagans also agree with the same facts. We can believe that the Bible is not corrupted based on the power it holds, the spirituality in it, and the salvation that can be found within it. As for textual criticism, while we do believe that certain translations may have errors from men, we believe that the Bible is the Word of God and that it is infallible. Many textual critics are Christians that find flaws from men, not from God. These honest men are willing to tell you what is right or wrong, not trying to hide it unlike other scholars from multiple religions. Each religious book will have textual critics, by far, many would try to use this against the Bible. In reality, the Bible is solid, and the version you read today can help you gain salvation. Each version points to Jesus. The Bible is solid, it is infallible.
